Notes
This was recorded in an office inside the Omni. The Static is our attempt to fine tune Jerry's ear monitor. The frequencies changed every night and were very close together.

Date is correct
Graashead mentioned previously that a show was not played on this date, which is correct, it was an off day of a four day run at The Omni. The date is
...
absolutely correct though. Obviously it's a sound check/rehearsal.

guess that they were fiddlin' around tryin to get things sounding right and it got recorded. Although not sure who coughed up the fur ball on When a Man Loves a Woman- im guessing Bob. It is interesting to hear even with the annoying static they were working through. I mean the choices of songs they were playin' is pretty intriguing. Big Boy Pete- Hi-heeled Sneakers...even Attics of my Life. Phil and Vince are prominent and it seems like they are working to get Jerry and Bobby's guiter in the mix properly. It's a quick listen- and probably more promising than what they actually did play the next night. The reviews are pretty accurate for this run, which was an ominous sign of things to come. Ahh well. I love the talk about the Allman Brothers band song playing off of Schoolgirl. It's worth checking out. No rating. ~ Let the good times roll
